Job Description
About Us
HiBob helps modern, mid-size businesses transform the way they manage people, giving HR and managers all they need to connect, engage, develop, and retain top talent. Since 2015, we've achieved consecutive triple-digit year-over-year growth, all backed by our amazing team of Bobbers from across the globe, making us the choice HRIS of over 3500 midsize and multinational companies.
Our HR platform is intuitive, data-driven, and built for the way people work today: globally, remotely, and collaboratively. Fast-growing companies across the globe such as Monzo, Happy Socks, Fiverr, and VaynerMedia rely upon Bob to help them create the best work experiences for their people.
Come and be you with us
Being a Bobber is all about being you. We want you to bring all parts of yourself to work, giving you the freedom and confidence to be the best you and do your best work. If that's bubbly, shy, precise, funny, bold, kind, honest, brilliant, or anything in between, we're waiting with open arms. Come join us.
We are looking for a Head of Global Learning to oversee the strategy, development, and execution of all training and development programs within the organization.
What will you do?
We are looking for a Corporate Travel Manager to oversee and optimize our global travel operations. This role involves ensuring that employee travel bookings align with company policies, monitoring duty of care issues, and negotiating airline and corporate rate agreements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent oversight abilities, and experience in managing travel within a high-tech environment.
Responsibilities

  • Policy Oversight: Ensure all employee travel bookings made through the online platform comply with company travel policies and budgetary constraints.
  • Issue Resolution: Monitor travel activities and provide support to resolve any travel-related issues or disruptions, offering alternative solutions as needed.
  • Duty of Care Monitoring: Oversee and ensure the safety and well-being of employees during travel, addressing any duty of care concerns promptly.
  • Expense Monitoring: Review and reconcile travel expenses, including invoices, receipts, and credit card statements, ensuring they adhere to budgets.
  • Financial Reporting: Analyze travel expense data and generate detailed financial summaries, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with travel service providers, negotiating competitive airline and corporate rate agreements to optimize travel budgets.
  • Travel Data Analysis: Produce and interpret statistical reports on travel activities, providing actionable insights to management.
  • Employee Guidance: Offer advice on travel policies, visa requirements, and best practices for using the online booking platform.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years in travel management, coordination, or a related role, with a focus on oversight rather than direct booking, ideally in a high-tech or corporate setting.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze travel data and identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and compliance issues.
  • Duty of Care Expertise: Experience in monitoring and managing duty of care responsibilities during employee travel.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate favorable terms for airline and corporate rate agreements.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in reviewing and reconciling travel-related expenses and documentation.
