Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Corrective Action Program/OpEx Manager in Lynchburg, VA, Charlotte, NC, or Mansfield, MA (remote work will also be considered), you will be part of the proven team in the Quality, Performance, and Safety Business Line in the Instrumentation and Controls Business Unit. Your work will include:

  • Corrective Action Program
    • Manage and administer the Framatome Corrective Action Program (CAP) for I&C to assure Framatome is meeting Regulatory, Codes, Standards and Customer requirements.
    • Develop Corrective Action Program improvements that support the Framatome Quality Policy, Framatome continuous improvement goals and customer expectations. Maintain knowledge of industry changes, developments and new information and implement this information into the CAP.
    • Coordinate, Lead and/or assist in the performance of Root Cause Investigations. Be the Subject Matter Expert for the 8D Problem Solving Process.
    • Function as a Quality Specialist to provide advice and consultation to Framatome Management, Suppliers and Customers on quality performance and analysis.
    • Perform detailed trend analysis using performance indicators developed to identify adverse trends and declining performance. Identify both good and bad findings to management and ensure management takes adequate action to address degrading or unacceptable conditions or performance.
    • Review Restraint Orders, Root Cause Analysis, 8D Analysis, etc. to verify that the analysis/evaluation adequately addressed the problem and the actions are sufficient to prevent recurrence. Take actions required to resolve discrepancies.
    • Interface with Framatome Management to address and resolve issues relevant to the investigation, evaluation or correction of identified problems. Notify the responsible BU Vice President and Functional Management and Quality Management when actions to resolve unsatisfactory responses are insufficient or responses are delinquent.
    • Evaluate long and short term effectiveness of corrective/preventative actions. Identify areas where these actions have not been effective and interface with applicable manager to provide additional actions.
    • Provide CAP, Root Cause Analysis and 8D Training and recommend personnel for designation as Evaluation Team Leads. Regularly attend the various Organizations' Corrective Action Review Boards and provide input to improve the effectiveness of the CRs.
  • OpEx
    • Responsible for effectively monitoring performance, identifying, and implementing actions to improve less than expected performance to ensure business results are achieved.
    • Responsible for effective implementation and management of the Human Performance Program, Corrective Action Program and Voice of Customer.
    • Responsible for driving improvements in solving human performance issues and performance improvement processes
    • Develops sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable human performance improvements
    • Creates and manages executive metrics, including a process for collecting, presenting, evaluating, and following up on resulting actions
    • Provides leadership in driving culture changes needed to build support and participation in improvement processes
    • Responsible to conduct training for Quality & Continuous Improvement (Principles of Excellence, A3 Problem Solving, Manager in Field, 8D Event Resolution, Visual Management), FMEA facilitation, and Workshops (VSM, 5S, Process Mapping, etc.)
    • Responsible to support Operating Unit Implementation Initiatives such as Master Plan (annual objective) Development and Maintenance and Digital Transformation (Process Mapping and associated A3s)

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $91,000 - $124,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
