Job Description

The Correspondence Coordinator I role requires prior experience in general servicing or correspondence. This position will monitor and generate written communication timely and accurately from the MSP and vendor platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • First-line Help Desk support with the immediate responsibility to resolve issues with the user community in their utilization of the Black Knight (BKI) MSP system Online Letter Writer (OLLW).
  • Analyze business unit requests for new letters and updates
  • Monitor MSP and vendor reports for data transmissions, accuracy, and updates to portfolio
  • Retrieve data and compile monthly statistical reports in a designated time frame with accuracy
  • Analyze company processes and make recommendations for process improvements
  • Compile standard rules and procedures for error checking, validation, and updating
  • Participate in meetings and keep the team updated on changes, new products, and business decisions
  • Stay current with Black Knight enhancements related to OLLW
  • Communicate the status of projects, tasks, and issues as they arise
  • Utilizes letter producing software system (OLLW) to create, generate and maintain consistent written communication to borrowers from all loan servicing departments.
  • Identifies and queries various loan criteria to provide written communication in a timely manner including welcome letters, default notices and other specific borrowers' correspondence.
  • Adheres to all Compliance guidelines including RESPA and Government Agency Operating Procedures for (VA)(FHA) including specific timeframes regarding borrowers' written communication requirements
  • Serves as liaison for print vendor ensuring all assigned correspondences are prepared and sent within contractual timeframes.
  • Reconciles reports for Government agency loans, including VA, FHA, and USDA.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned
  • Develop and maintain policy and procedures for job functions
  • Accept other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
  • 1 Year Black Knight (BKI) MSP experience
  • 1 Year mortgage written correspondence letters experience
  • 1 Year Mortgage Serving Experience
  • OLLW (Online Letter Writer) experience a Plus
