Advantest America's Incorporated is looking for a qualified Cost Accounting candidate to help analyze, develop and implement cost accounting solutions for Essai, Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Advantest Americas, Inc.) in Fremont CA. The position is a full-time permanent position.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyze the current cost accounting solution implemented by the company
• Oversee unit cost validation, WIP valuation and integrity of physical inventory count programs
• Recommend ongoing process solutions to keep the integrity of the cost data
• Work closely with in-house IT to test and implement corrective solutions as needed
• Work with operations team as needed to implement inventory flow and process improvements
• Assist in upcoming ERP system implementation
• Work on daily requests to set ERP unit cost standards for the Americas region

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 3 years cost accounting experience
• Analytical thinker with attention to details and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under global environment
• ERP experience in Microsoft Nav and/or Oracle Inventory, Cost Management and WIP modules
• General understanding of item and BOM structure in manufacturing environment
• Proficient using Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel

Additional Skills Preferred (but not required):

• Program Management in finance role for ERP implementation also a plus
