Cost Accountant

The junior cost accountant should be able to:

• Review and approve vendor invoices
• Reconcile said invoices with company's SAP system
• Prepare reports for management
• Provide support for the controls team
• Prepare monthly diversity report
• Support the Project Managers with administrative tasks tracking open inspections, etc.
• Assist the controls team with updating monthly cost reporting
• Export, Review and Archive vendor Proof or Payments
• Assist with Document Control activities
• Assist with Acquisition Package assembly

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in finance or cost accounting
• Preferred working knowledge of BST system
• Proactive in solving problems
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Experience in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) industry preferred
