Cost Accountant

Job Description

Brooks is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to work closely with our Chelmsford Operations and Accounting teams to support the Semiconductor Business.

Job Description and Duties:

• Provide Cost and Inventory Accounting support to the Chelmsford MA Semiconductor Plant including:
  • Reviewing variances to Standard Cost (PPV and Work Order Variances)
  • Establishing standard costs for new products
  • Work with the Production Planners to Review and Close Production Work Orders

• Work with Operations and Supply Chain Management in updating the Forecast in Hyperion Planning for OCOGs for all Product Lines
• Consolidate Monthly Inventory results across all Brook's entities and product lines

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• A minimum 4 years Cost/Inventory Accounting Experience in a Manufacturing environment. (preferably for a global operation)
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Experience with the Oracle ERP platform and Hyperion Planning are a plus.
