What will you be doing?

Supporting our Operations team, you will be the primary Finance business partner working with the SVP of Operations and other department leadership within Manufacturing to build financial models for forecasting purposes. You will also develop KPI's to measure margin improvements. In addition to collaborating with Operations, you will also work with the Commercial team to identify additional distribution needs, such as warehouse locations and increased inventory, and will provide financial and ROI analysis to support such plans.

Your everyday focus as the Cost Accountant Manager will be on executing standard cost accounting and maintaining an effective system of internal control. Your responsibilities will include ensuring general ledger accounts are accurate as well as performing monthly closing financials in accordance with GAAP. With your dedication, your financial reporting, planning and analysis of our Natick manufacturing site will help to drive gross margin expansion initiatives and help to monitor inventory and manufacturing variances including labor efficiency, material usage and scrap and the related cost impact.

What we're looking for in you:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ Years of standard costing and accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Prior in-depth work experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP or SAP Business ByDesign is required.
• Experience in Excel with utilizing pivot tables, lookups and other advanced functions and formulas at a high level of proficiency.
• Strong business and finance acumen, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail is a must.
• Desire to work both independently and collaboratively across a Global workforce.
• Ability to work a Hybrid work schedule out of our Natick, MA Headquarters.

Location:

This exciting role is based out of the friendly and vibrant town of Natick, with some flexibility to work both in-person and remotely.

Travel:

There is potential is potential for minimal travel but anticipated to be less than 10% annually. If there are any changes to this, they will be discussed with the selected candidate.

Hours for this role will be communicated to the selected candidate by the Hiring Manager.
