Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Cost Accountant located in Reynosa, Tamaulipas.

Reporting to the Controller, the Cost Accountant’s role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Responsible for preparing and maintaining accounting records and analyzing and interpreting accounting records to give advice or prepare statements.
• Reconcile trial balance accounts within individual’s responsibility.
• Prepare/Review Journal Vouchers with appropriate supporting documentation.
• Adhere to Direct Material Standard Cost, Capitalization or Direct Labor and Manufacture Overhead in Inventory, Monthly Purchase Price Variance, Cycle Counting, and Inventory transfer policy.
• Knowledge of SAP system.
• Intermediate Excel handling.
• Knowledge and structure of the income statement.
• Profit and loss statement handling.
• Experience in Automotive Industry (desirable).

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Intermediate English
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree.
• Be familiar with relevant Accounting, regulatory and reporting requirements in the Controllers Handbook and RCTS.
• Ensure corporate reporting deadlines are met for designated reports.
