Cost Analyst - Cleared Position

Secret Clearance Required

Required Skills:

• 3 years + DoD cost analysis or related experience desired.
• Bachelor Degree
• Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge and experience with Excel.
• Must be extremely proficient with Excel including regression, pivot tables, and complex functions and references.

Plus Skills: Any VBA coding experience and Risk Simulation software (@RISK) would be desirable.

Location: Patuxent River, MD

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide total cost support to the Government customer.
• Operate as part of an integrated product team working closely with engineers and logisticians to formulate system cost estimates to be used in developing, acquiring, and supporting affordable Naval Aviation Systems.

• Create cost models to support Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs), Program Office Estimates (POEs), budget drills and other cost modeling as required.
• Able to analyze and understand existing cost models to incorporate updates. Perform detailed cost analysis of large contractor proposals and experience working with large BOMs, CSDRs and negotiation support is a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and responsive with quality cost support in a fast-paced program office environment.
