Responsibilities Include:
- Respond to client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate, positive and professional manner
- Respond to inquiries from client and work with client to gather necessary information for completion of required documents
- Work with clients to procure data related to acquisitions and construction projects.
- Analyze construction cost ledgers, contractor payments applications and examining any available construction blueprints/drawings for the respective project.
- Conduct on-site inspection to notate and document the nature and use of all depreciable property.
- Prepare schedules using estimating tools such as RS Means and Marshall Valuation resources.
- Write a report detailing and summarizing the support for the cost segregation study
- Perform cost segregation studies of facilities in a range of industries and conduct site inspections, if needed
- Develop experience in leading construction software
- Conduct estimation of real and personal property building components
- Perform detailed cost estimates in all divisions
- Reconcile construction cost data to client accounting data
- Perform digital quantity takeoffs
- Analyze construction cost information and construction drawings
Desired Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree, preferably, but not required, in construction, accounting, or finance.
- Knowledge of accounting and or construction industry experience is preferable.
- Familiarity and the ability to interpret construction specifications.
- Familiarity with cost estimating for construction materials.
- Confidence and professionalism to effectively communicate via email, phone, and in-person with high level executives.
- Ability to think independently and make good decisions based on education and experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and staff
- Ability to prioritize work, follow through on requests, take initiative and meet deadlines
