Cote d’Ivoire AI Transcription Specialist (Bambara)

As an AI Transcription Specialist, you will be responsible for producing highly accurate transcriptions of speech in Bambara. Your efforts will play a key role in improving AI-powered communication tools. This project focuses on developing advanced speech recognition models for the Bambara language.

Key Responsibilities:

- Accurately transcribe audio files in Bambara, following the provided transcription guidelines.

- Ensure high-quality transcriptions to help develop AI speech recognition models.

- Apply linguistic knowledge to ensure correct spelling, grammar, and pronunciation.

Requirements:

- Must be based in Cote d’Ivoire.

- Native proficiency in Bambara (required).

- Bilingual skills in French and/or Arabic (preferred).

- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of basic linguistic concepts.

- Good reading comprehension skills in both Bambara and English.

- Ability to follow guidelines and apply rules to data accurately.

- Familiarity with Bambara spelling conventions.

- Prior experience in transcription and annotation of acoustic data.

- Stable internet connection.

- Experience with online gaming is a plus but not required.

Qualification Process:

Bambara Language Proficiency: You must pass a language comprehension quiz with a score of at least 80% (3 attempts allowed).

Transcription Guidelines Quiz: You must score at least 85% on a medium-complexity transcription guidelines quiz (2 attempts allowed).

This role is a project-based opportunity with CrowdGen, where you will join the CrowdGen Community as an Independent Contractor. If selected, you will receive an email from CrowdGen regarding the creation of an account using your application email address.
