Job Description
THE POSITION: This position will lead all of the DACH business within EVERSANA’s global commercial deployment business. He/she will manage all of the leaders of each sales team we deploy as well as leading our DACH Virtual Engagement (Inside sales) team. Accordingly, all National Business Directors, Project Directors, and Project leads will report into this position.Â
The Country Manager, EVERSANA Deployment Solutions – DACH will also represent the business during the sale and implementation of commercial opportunities by consulting with and advising internal teams and clients on both strategy and delivery/execution. The role will be responsible for the operational and financial performance of the DACH commercial deployment business, as well as working closely with the General Manager of Deployment Solutions and other senior leaders on the strategy for expansion of the deployment business.
The role will also involve business development in the DACH region. Furthermore involvement in wider EU, UK and Global projects will also be necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Establishing EVERSANA’s DACH Deployment Solutions business
- Partnering with Head of European & APAC Operations
- Partnering with EVERSANA CRO, President of Deployment Solutions, and Head of Europe, on strategy for growth and executional excellence in Europe
- Building business plan for CSO launch with specific timelines / staged investment.
- Leveraging the US-based platform as appropriate, identifies gaps per country, and plans to address gaps in a staged and strategic manner.
- Proactively managing the growth of the CSO effort from both an operational and business growth standpoint.
- Managing and reporting regular updates on CSO business progress to leadership as appropriate
- Engaging with both the European and US-based leadership teams, active participation in commercial team meetings
- Ensuring proactive management structure and oversight of all deployed sales teams – to ensure EVERSANA is achieving all agreed to objectives. Looks for ways to enhance / add value to strategic engagements with clients.Â
- Partnering with Operational leads to ensure work processes and client deliverables are optimised and timely
- Developing a pipeline of excellent talent and prospective clients to fill future business needs
- Planning, organising and coordinating various projects, programmes and services to upgrade EVERSANA competitively in the marketplace.
- Being responsible for success and relationships with each sales team deployed by EVERSANA.
- Being responsible for the growth and management of our Virtual Engagement Business (as needed)
- Managing executive business relationship from Deployment Solutions with UK, Europe and APAC-based clients
- Broadening EVERSANA’s brand in the DACH region, as the premier commercialisation partner in brand, specialty/rare and orphan categories.
- Being responsible for building strategic positioning for business to compete / win amongst competitors.
- Working closely with, and supporting, the Commercial Business Development team and prospective clients to grow EVERSANA’s Europe & APAC Deployment Solutions business.
- Working closely with existing clients to grow and enhance EVERSANA footprint.
- Ensuring client satisfaction with all existing clients – seeks ways to grow EVERSANA “footprint” with existing clients
- Highly proficient in use of PowerPoint, Excel and Salesforce
- Proficient in use of market research tools and techniques including CRM, database query and management, and use of 3rd party information sources

Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.
- Education: University degree required
- Experience and/or Training: 15 or more years of prior experience within biopharma, including experience on both the manufacturer’s side as well as selling complex services into biopharma. CSO and start-up experience strongly preferred.
- Licenses/Certificates: none
- Technology/Equipment: Excel, and PowerPoint (the proficiencies required to perform the job)
- Strong business and financial acumen and strategic thinking – ability and knowledge of how a CSO works and how to scale the business in a staged and strategic manner.
- Independent, assertive, and confident biopharma professional. Must be a hands-on self-starter, who has been successful in developing and driving business growth in the pharmaceutical and medical devices space.
- Must have deep and well-established relationships with Europe-based biopharma executives.
- Hungry and eager to establish and grow our Europe-based CSO business.
- Thorough knowledge of product commercialisation needs through experience in brand or service companies in specialty products, oncology experience is a plus.Â
- Skilled at articulating appropriate field/customer engagement models as adapted per region/country consultative manner to current and prospective clients.
- Must have some general management / operational background. Done while scaling a business is a plus.
