Job Description

We're looking for a CPQ Developer to support our company's growth by working with our team of Sales & Engineering specialists to address ongoing enhancements and requests for changes to our CPQ system. Key duties and actions include:

  • Assist in the enhancement and creation of code changes to the customized configurators used in our CPQ instance.
  • Design, code, and implement solutions in sandbox environments. Go through the development lifecycle to ensure proper testing of enhancements before making the push to Production instance.
  • Write technical documentation for enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Deliver support and solutions for bugs/fixes.
  • Ensure code changes moved to Production instance meet the appropriate code coverage.
  • Problem solve and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of the company to come up with optimal solution / best practice.
  • Coach and mentor other team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related
  • 3+ years development experience with CPQ systems, ideally Salesforce solutions
  • Experience with the following tools: HTML, Apex or C#, JavaScript, SOQL or QL
  • Experience developing programmatic automation through Apex code, Apex Triggers, Custom Metadata types. As well as experience with declarative automation tools such as: Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow rules
  • Experience Integrating CPQ/CRM with other systems using third-party APIs
  • Strong skills in developing customer interfacing UI using Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, and Visualforce pages
  • Experience with CPQ Product/Price Rules
  • Technical knowledge of CPQ/CRM platform capabilities, functionalities, and limitations specifically around governor limits and best practices
  • Understanding of CPQ/CRM Administration including standard data model and security
  • Experience with development tools such as Visual Studio, Git, DevOps tools (Blue Canvass, Gearset, or ClickDeploy)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel to company locations up to 10% of the time
