About the Role: 

As a Creative Artist for Everskies, you’ll be at the forefront of creating unique and stylish fashion items that enhance our players’ in-game experience. Working closely with the LiveOps team, you’ll collaborate to design and implement avatar assets that resonate with our community while supporting exciting in-game events.  We’re looking for someone who’s not only passionate about gaming and virtual spaces, but also has a strong creative side to support avatar and fashion design.

Responsibilities: 

• Create stunning pixel art and avatar assets with a focus on fashion items that resonate with our community. (Bonus: experience designing animated assets!)

• Collaborate with the team to iterate on designs based on feedback, refining them to perfection through multiple stages.

•  Support event creation with art assets for in-game use and social media, ensuring they align with the event’s theme and objectives. Provide support and guidance to in-game creators, fostering a creative and collaborative environment.

• Understand and engage with our community: leverage your experience with game/forum communities to tailor your designs and events to fit the userbase's unique needs and preferences.

• Proactively contribute new ideas and improvements to enhance live operations, showing initiative to push our platform forward.

Requirements: 

• Proven experience in pixel art and avatar design, with a portfolio to back it up.

• Basic to intermediate experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, for creating digital assets.

• Strong understanding and experience in forum or game communities; you know what makes communities tick and how to cater to their needs.

• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to take and implement feedback effectively.
