Stories can be told lots of ways. Some are visual while others include written language. Some are totally free and straightforward while others require months of build-out, planning and budget. Our business requires all the above. We seek a highly organized Marketing Manager to help shape and tell our story. This role requires competency in two critical areas: creative development and marketing planning.
In this critical role you bring versatility and experience that will enable you to play several different roles. At once, you can create a short video, author digitally animated content, freshen-up a stale power point and help design the trade show booth. In this regard, you're a Creative at heart. But it's not just creative development...at the same time, you will work with the business stakeholders to help clarify the right messages for customers. We have a great story to tell, and your job is to put sales and account staff in a better position to tell it. You will ensure the messaging and presentation of our aviation business reaches and resonates with the global market in which we operate.
You will submit an annual budget, plan a marketing calendar, and be the administrative manager overseeing agency resources.
What you will do

  • Develop digital content; build an enterprise-wide story and solution portfolio.
  • Plan and execute impactful marketing and communications campaigns that support our brand, our recruitment efforts and employee retention. This will include internal, external and customer events.
  • Oversee agency vendors and campaign development
  • Work with our Corporate Marketing team (located at our headquarters in Virginia) to align on use of corporate branding, imagery and voice.
  • Create and maintain a strong relationship with stakeholders including marketing and communications team as well as executive, operations, and product leadership teams.
  • Perform as a strategic leader and subject matter expert.


Your required experience/skills

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant brand management and global B2B marketing experience including a minimum 10 years of creative direction in agency or corporate setting
  • Experience creating marketing/advertising campaigns from developing vision
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into simpler, memorable ones
  • Incredible organizational skills with the ability to provide executive briefings in simple terms
  • Specific skills related to creative development and a portfolio to showcase your talents and capabilities
  • Travel up to 20% to meet business needs (domestic and international)

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing and/or design
