Creative Director

 This candidate will be a key contributor to help accelerate our suite of coaching and training products to new heights by bringing vision, leadership, creative excellence, and a forward thinking mind to the creative department.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in being both a coach and contributor, and must have a strong background in design, online and event advertising and have exceptional coaching skills.

Responsibilities:

• Evolve the brand look to help maintain its leading marketplace position and ensure the brand continues to present itself as a contemporary leader in the space
• Manage and mentor a team of graphic designers, copywriters, and videographers/editors, providing guidance and support to help them reach their full potential
• Conduct brainstorming sessions with creative team, maintaining strategic thinking to develop innovative and actionable initiatives in a fiscally responsible manner
• Ensure that the team implements the most up-to-date best practices that are proven to drive results both online and offline
• Oversee and review the production of all creative assets, including owned, paid, events and sales.
• Help manage outside agencies who develop creative assets for the brand to ensure the work is impactful, on brand, and consistently improving.
• Take a hands-on approach to designing eye-catching work in order to help produce high-quality assets as needed to meet project deadlines.
• Work with various leaders on presentation collateral for external events, sales materials and internal recaps.
• Implement practices that inspire a creative team – practices that encourage the team to monitor the marketplace for great work that can be shared with the marketing team

Requirements:

• Ten years of relevant experience, with five or more years as a creative director in an agency or corporate setting
• Proven experience helping build mid-size brands and launch new products
• Experience in creating marketing/advertising campaigns — from developing the vision and messaging to overseeing on time production
• Experience in creating integrated content across all marketing channels: digital, social media, paid media, event, print, and sales
• Proven ability to develop successful concepts
• Proven excellence in leading a team of diverse, talented creatives
• A strong creative vision, with an eye on business objectives
• A background in brand governance across internal and external departments

Work Environment 

Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.

The office work environment can be boisterous. Attire is business casual.

Travel

Hardly Ever (5%). May be required to travel overnight – by car or air – to support various events sometimes working in excess of eight (8) hours/day.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

*We are currently working a hybrid schedule. We are in the office Mon - Wed and work remote Thu/Fri.. All employees must be located in commutable distance to our Orange County, CA, Dallas, TX or Boise,ID office; applicants outside of these locations will not be considered. The hybrid schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the company.
