Job Description

Team: Design

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Creative Director, Lifecycle & Organic Growth in Canada.

Join a fast-growing, product-driven environment where creativity, storytelling, and customer empathy play a central role in shaping brand loyalty and long-term growth. In this role, you will redefine how customers experience and connect with a consumer-focused digital platform by transforming transactional messaging into meaningful, trust-building communication. You’ll lead the creative direction for lifecycle marketing across channels such as email, SMS, in-app messaging, and organic content, helping establish a distinctive and emotionally resonant brand voice. Working cross-functionally with product, growth, design, and customer insights teams, you will influence both customer engagement and retention strategies. This opportunity is ideal for a strategic and hands-on creative leader who thrives in high-growth startup environments and enjoys building from the ground up. You’ll have significant ownership, direct impact on brand perception, and the freedom to shape a long-term customer communication strategy.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and define a compelling brand voice and messaging strategy across lifecycle and organic growth channels.
  • Overhaul customer communications including CRM campaigns, email marketing, SMS, and in-app messaging to create more engaging and relationship-driven experiences.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Growth, and Customer Insights teams to build communication strategies that strengthen customer trust, loyalty, and engagement.
  • Create impactful copy and creative concepts that simplify complex or emotionally sensitive topics into accessible and compelling messaging.
  • Drive customer retention and long-term conversion through thoughtful lifecycle marketing initiatives and audience engagement strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of organic content strategies across channels such as social media and community-based platforms.
  • Analyze customer feedback, qualitative insights, and behavioral patterns to continuously refine messaging and brand positioning.
  • Serve as a key creative voice within the organization, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Requirements:

    • 7+ years of experience in creative marketing, brand storytelling, lifecycle marketing, or organic growth roles.
    • Strong expertise in copywriting, audience development, and customer engagement strategy.
    • Proven success managing organic growth channels including email, SMS, social media, and community-driven platforms.
    • Ability to transform complex, technical, or “non-traditional” consumer topics into engaging and emotionally resonant messaging.
    • Experience working within fast-paced startup or high-growth consumer-focused environments.
    • Strong understanding of social media dynamics, online communities, and customer behavior trends.
    • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
    • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to execution and experimentation.
    • Portfolio demonstrating strong creative direction, writing skills, and successful customer-focused campaigns.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary package with potential equity participation opportunities.
      • Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision plans.
      • Paid time off and paid parental leave programs.
      • Retirement savings plan with employer matching options.
      • Flexible and remote-friendly work environment.
      • Opportunity to shape the voice and creative identity of a rapidly growing consumer platform.
      • Career growth opportunities within a high-impact and innovative organization.
      • Collaborative, inclusive, and entrepreneurial team culture.
      • Wellness initiatives and additional employee support programs.
