Overview
You will
- Drive, influence, evolve, and uplevel LegalZoom’s visual design strategy, brand identity, and brand voice
- Own the development of cross-channel advertising campaigns across a variety of products and services that are distributed through linear TV, CTV, web, and social to uniquely position LegalZoom in front of target customers
- Ensure all creative assets are tailored and relevant to the objectives and intended distribution channels/platforms (standard and high impact web banners, CTV, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn)
- Initiate and advocate for the use of innovative tools and technology to develop assets that are both unique and efficiently produced
- Collaborate closely with Product Design to ensure brand identity and visual design aesthetics are seamlessly integrated throughout end-to-end customer journeys
- Establish strong collaboration between creative teams to ensure assets are seamlessly integrated and deliver best-in-class storytelling
- Oversee content design for marketing pages on web
- Leverage research, insights, and learnings to inform creative decisions that are rooted in consumer needs and business priorities, and drive performance and brand health goals
- Influence and secure cross-functional buy-in with executives and key partners and build the credibility needed to push our brand to new levels of creative excellence
- Work with cross-functional teams and balance their needs with the overarching necessity to stand out from a crowded field creatively
- Empower, develop, and energize our internal creative team with programs and forums that build mentorship and expertise in your craft
- Source, hire, and manage best-in-class creative talent
- Establish and manage strong vendor and agency partnerships when needed
- Oversee the production function and have experience working on set.
You have
- 12+ years of experience as an innovative brand-first creative leader
- Ideally has experience in working in-house on a SAAS product and experience working directly with product teams on brand initiatives
- A strong portfolio across breakthrough brand advertising campaigns and design rebrands
- A strong desire to build incredibly creative teams overflowing with diverse perspectives
- Ability to articulate and sell-in creative vision in presentations and feedback sessions
- Ability to think clearly and contribute to editorial discussions and strategy during the entire creative production process, from concept through completion
- Phenomenal brand development track record
- On-time and on-budget delivery of all major projects
- Retention and job satisfaction of team members
- Experience in building in-house design capabilities

LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is ($148,500 - $220,000). Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
