Job Summary:
PatientPoint is looking for a Creative Director, Motion to lead the strategy, planning and execution of motion assets to support enterprise marketing initiatives and other creative initiatives.
For the primary function, the right candidate has a comprehensive understanding of demand generation and digital marketing strategies and tactics that support both top-of-funnel and mid-funnel pipeline development. The candidate must also understand customer retention/engagement initiatives relevant to retaining and increasing product utilization. With that foundational marketing expertise in place, this role will focus on owning and driving a robust motion production plan for the enterprise for both short- and long-term goals for a variety of business units. You will be a lead member within the Creative Marketing team, overseeing all motion marketing activities to ensure assets are on strategy, on brand and superior in concept and execution.
This role will serve as a champion and evangelist for motion best practices across all creative motion initiatives. This position will collaborate with cross-functional and content and creative team leads to ideate, strategize, plan, oversee or execute in support of relevant objectives.Â
The ideal candidate will be steeped in video production experience with expert understanding of the steps and talent needed to efficiently and cost-effectively complete live-action productions. This nimble candidate must be adept at wearing multiple hats from video producer, to scriptwriter, to post-production editor. Â Additionally, the candidate must have expertise across all video modalities from 2D to 3D, from live-action to animation so that they can marry the right execution with a myriad of business needs.
This teammate must also serve as mentor and coach directly or indirectly to creative talent to ensure best practices, brand excellence and skill mentoring is enabled with each and every project.
Primary Duties Include, but Are Not Limited to:
- Serves as lead Creative Director overseeing all marketing motion assets for corporate, provider, client, and customer retention initiatives
- Develops and owns strategic production plan mapping video production asset development to strategic initiatives
- Drives implementation plan utilizing contracted or in-house talent to best achieve desired result
- Mentors and/or coaches motion design talent to identify and grow animation and video production skills
- Acts as strategic partner to executive leadership on matters relating to marketing video concepting and visualization, serving as the primary “pitcher” of the approach
- Provides consultative creative direction as assigned to at-large content and creative motion initiatives relevant to PatientPoint Studios and product/content animations
- Delivers high-caliber concepts that showcase provocative storytelling or emotive narratives as needed to meet objectives
- Executes all productions within primary scope from pitch to concept, to storyboard to shoot, to post production—with special attention paid to intersection and execution of live action and animated graphics
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to coordinate among multiple teams across the organization and be a team player
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in motion arts
- A. in relevant design field
- Agency experience (required), and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to pivot to address evolving project needs.
- Experience with healthcare sector, pharmaceutical/regulatory advertising, interactive/digital advertising, brand VizID preferred=
- Ability to travel for location-based shoots or HQ meetings (if remote), likely 4 times per year.
- Exceptional organizational skills, including multitasking and time
- Expertise in all components of video production process from pitching/concepting, storyboarding/scripting, set design/staging, talent/location acquisition, production crew acquisition/direction, and post-production editing.
- Strong client-facing and design talent coaching skills
- Expert knowledge of Creative Suite software, particularly After Effects, Premier, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
