Creative Director, Video Production

We’re Looking For A: Creative Director, Video Production to build a new video production team, and drive performance, offering coaching, direction, and strategy for this new team. Responsible for optimization of promotional video content to meet overall company goals.
Location: Woodland Hills, CA or Remote
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Recruit and lead team to produce short-form and long-form marketing videos using a data-driven, test-and-learn approach
- Oversee ideation and optimization of promotional video content to increase engagement, ROI, and scale
- Lead casting including on-camera talent, models, and voiceover artists
- Manage workflow & output by setting deadlines, priorities, production guidelines/standards, and goals for the department
- Manage overall structure and growth of the team — includes coaching/mentoring managers & individual contributors, overseeing training of new employees to drive team growth and individual development
- Manage budgets and closely monitor project spending to make adjustments based on timeline, schedule changes or changes in scope of work
- Drive company goals in conjunction with other managers and executives
- Ensure that production meets expectations & timelines set by different departments
Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):
- Experience with analyzing marketing stats and video metrics and ability to draw conclusions and proper action plans
- Experienced in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Power Point
- Experience with typical production protocol and etiquette when dealing with talent
- Experience with managing budgets and scheduling
- Knowledge of cinematography and editing in a manner that company goals
- Works effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 5+ years of previous experience in Video Production
- 3+ years of previous experience managing a team of editors and producers
- Bachelor’s Degree in Film, Media Studies or related field
$132,300 - $160,000, annual & monthly KPI bonus potential, depending upon experience
