The job:

Our in-house team of copywriters, creative strategists, designers, and production artists--many with top agency backgrounds--raise the bar for workplace culture as we build internal brands, create inspiring experiences, and develop communication seen by millions of employees around the world. We are seeking a talented Creative Manager (comparable to Associate Creative Director) to join our team.

As part of our creative team, you will be a key strategic player, leading teams of designers and writers to create brand systems for some of the biggest companies in the world. In addition you will mentor and guide individual team members' career growth.

What you'll do:

You will work directly with clients, strategists, creative directors, and other team members to:

• Lead teams in the development of flexible brand systems, internalizing our clients' brand guidelines and creating extensions of these brands that are specific to employee recognition.
• Lead teams in the development of strategic campaigns that help our technology become an instinctive part of employees' work life. Campaigns include print and digital content and communication, website assets, email, and video.
• Partner with creative strategists to set vision and direction for projects that align to strategic framework.
• Provides professional mentoring, goal-setting guidance, work assignments, project/client troubleshooting, coaching, 1:1s, annual reviews and celebrations for direct reports
• Critique work and offer perspective and feedback that elevates the quality of overall creative.
• Lead teams to create new business pitches that demonstrate the power of our solutions and services.
• Work with internal partners at O.C. Tanner to develop and improve our products, and user experience.

Education and experience:

• Great portfolio of work with excellent examples of brand systems, print and digital communication, and video and/or animation sequences
• 10+ years of agency, design firm, or freelance design experience
• Expert understanding of print and digital media and processes
• BFA in design (or equivalent) preferred
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud
• Expert understanding and use of Mac OS
