Job Summary:
The Creative Copywriter will craft innovative, customer-focused, and easy to understand narratives across all channels. You will collaborate with product marketing, marketing leads, growth hackers and other cross-functional teams to develop creative content for our demand generation program, website, and other customer communications. We're looking for a brand advocate who can think conceptually, write creatively, question strategically, and optimize continuously.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Reporting to our Marketing Director, you will be a product expert to help customers and partners understand the "why" behind our brand, products, benefits, and technologies
- Develop promotional, multi-channel copy that performs — for demand generation campaigns, landing pages, social media, video, and more
- Using key messaging frameworks, pull out value propositions and re-write for clarity and engagement.
- Write creative but succinct copy for email, social, microsites, retail, and more
- Own and evolve our writing style guide and identify gaps in our existing messaging to suggest ways to strengthen our brand voice.
- Collaborate with marketing leads on fresh creative strategies for each campaign.
- Help differentiate our products through effective but engaging product-driven storytelling
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a marketing/advertising copywriter in a high-tech market
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Advertising, Journalism, creative writing or industry-related field.
- Online portfolio featuring dynamic campaigns in digital, social, experiential and/or traditional mediums.
- Impeccable writing craft.
- Proven ability for quick creative and customer focused thinking.
- A strong understanding of marketing and content channels and ability to adapt writing to fit the needs of the audience.
- This is not a remote role. Ability to work onsite in our Liberty Lake, WA headquarters is required.
