Your mission:
Champion the strategy and production of Kabbage's visual identity across the Marketing team, unwavering to produce exceptional and consistent designs that create the best user experience for our customers.
What you'll be doing:
- Defining creative strategies and creating exceptional designs that delight small businesses.
- As the lead marketing designer for Kabbage, you will help evolve Kabbage's brand as part American Express and help guide its art direction.
- Lead a scrappy design team, producing high-quality work to support a fast-growing business.
- Collaborating across the Kabbage marketing team to help hit top-line busines goals with effective design.
- Initiative: Actively finds ways to make improvements at work.

- Collaboration & Influence: Ability to successfully influence and bring together internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

- A love for small businesses and an empathetic approach to design for them.
- A palpable passion for design with evident experience to solve design problems, define design strategies and create assets across Marketing UX.
- A deep desire to proactively improve designs with little need for top-down assignments or creative briefs-you are comfortable self-assigning projects to support all marketing channel owners.
- A strong proficiency in design tools for prototyping (like Figma), and adequate knowledge about CSS and HTML.
- An understanding of how to build design systems to support a scaling business.
- The appropriate number of years designing for marketing UX to have strong roots in design principles and user experience.
- The unwavering belief that designing for the customer is paramount. With that understanding, you know to do the best for the customer requires a collaborative approach and a no-ego mindset to work in partnership across teams of various disciplines.

Depending on role and business needs, colleagues will either work onsite, in a hybrid model (combination of in-office and virtual days) or fully virtually.
