About this role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Creative Operations and Resource Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Creative Operations and Resource Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of creative projects while effectively managing resources and maximizing efficiency. This position requires exceptional communication skills, strong project management expertise, and a creative mindset.
This role will report into the Creative Operations and Resource Director and will be responsible for:
Resource Management:
- Collaborate with creative teams to understand project requirements and allocate appropriate resources.
- Track and manage resource availability, ensuring the right talent is assigned to projects based on their skills and availability.
- Continuously monitor project progress and adjust resource allocation as necessary to meet deadlines and optimize productivity.
- Maintain a comprehensive resource database, including freelance contacts, vendors, and external partners.
Creative Project Coordination:
- Work with the client services team and facilitate the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure seamless execution.
- Establish and maintain effective project management processes and tools, ensuring the team's adherence to best practices (maintenance of Airtable).
- Act as a liaison between the creative team, clients, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies to optimize creative operations.
- Build a bench of freelance creative talent on an ongoing basis.
- Implement tools and systems to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Continuously evaluate and refine project management methodologies, adapting them to the evolving needs of the organization.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, or related discipline).
- Proven experience (4 years) in creative operations, project management, or a related role, preferably within a creative agency or marketing department.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, knowledge of Airtable is a plus
- Familiarity with budget management and financial principles.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement initiatives and optimize creative workflows.
- A creative mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional work.
Salary: $90,000-$100,000/year
