Creative Producer

Job Summary

Looking for a unique opportunity to grow a new brand and make meaningful change from day one? Ruggable is launching an exciting new business and is looking for an incredible Creative Producer to lead production, discovering what creative most resonates with our future customers. The Creative Producer will manage all production (in-house and external) to create high-quality content within an accelerated time frame. The role requires a highly-organized, detail-oriented individual who can project manage a campaign from concept to launch. The ideal candidate is a proven expert in both photo and video production.

This role will be based out of our offices Gardena, CA. 

What You’ll Do:

• Manage production of all creative content. Ensure day-to-day studio or location operations run smoothly; clearly communicate deliverables and stay on target with budgets and timelines. 
• Write pitches, treatments, scripts, and create storyboards for highly engaging brand awareness campaigns and effective direct response ads. Present concepts to internal stakeholders and external agencies.
• Define creative processes within an ambiguous start-up environment. Build shoot schedule, including pre-production and post-production timelines.
• Manage creator production program; work with our social coordinator to brief creators, managing timelines, creative reviews, and budgets.
• Work closely with all agents and artists on all production related topics. Negotiate rates for freelance contributors and usage rights for all creative projects.
• Lead external agencies across company processes and guidelines for projects.
• Push the boundaries of creative excellence across all work streams, inspiring others to deliver excellence.
• Use film theory and advertising knowledge to execute creative ideas across a wide variety of ad platforms, with an emphasis on FB/IG to start.

What You’ll Need to Have:

• 5+ years creative direction and production experience — in-house brand or creative agency, specifically someone who has experience in targeted advertising. 
• Ability to commute to Torrance offices.
• Established network of world-class creative, production and post-production collaborators within the industry.
• Knowledge of the home decor market with regards to creative strategies, photographers, etc.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment, and be a strong communicator with cross functional teams.
• Prior experience in project management and/or workflow optimization. Knowledge of Asana is a plus.
• Must be curious, have an eye for interior styling and design, and a passion for storytelling.
• Must have a reel/portfolio available for producing/directing that includes multiple digital platforms and formats.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Capture One and Frame.io.
• Strong understanding of production budgets.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Hard working team player with excitement for startups and building from the ground up.

• $75,000-$85,000 per year
• Annual bonus percentage is dependent on level of role
