Amplify's creative team is a group of designers, artists, and storytellers. We sketch, we write, we push pixels, we also love paper. We live for the big ideas, and we sweat the details. As a member of Amplify's centralized art content team, you will partner with the executive creative director to manage illustration, animation and production design projects for different product teams, as well as help maintain a shared assets library. In short, you will help with organizational logistics so that the creative director can focus on the art. Together, you will achieve timely and on-budget delivery of high quality art content. You will collaborate with product owners on scope and budget for new initiatives, create project schedules, facilitate meetings, manage documentation and assist with all stages of content creation, from pre-planning to final file delivery. A successful candidate will be fluent in digital file types, have a working knowledge of various design software used to create visual and animated assets, and have experience with print production and delivery of final files to a printer. A successful candidate will also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written, and experience with managing several ongoing projects with various stakeholders. This position will require great attention to detail and a love of spreadsheets! Big plus for having an art-related background or a college degree in the areas of graphic design, illustration, animation, fine art or art history.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the executive creative director and the production design lead to gather requirements for new content initiatives across the company.
  • Oversee allocations, schedules and track budgets for art and production design initiatives for digital and print products.
  • Articulate the needs between product teams and the art content team in order to successfully deliver on art and design initiatives.
  • Maintain the backlog of initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain documentation in a systematic way.
  • Contribute to refinement of content creation processes.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in business, management, communications, graphic arts, design, illustration, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in digital project management (creative production experience is preferred)
  • Expert knowledge of spreadsheets: setting up complex trackers with formulas
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on file formats produced in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, AfterEffects
  • Familiarity with AdobeXD, Sketch, Figma
  • Experience with managing digital and print production cycles
  • Ability to coordinate several projects and timelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A love of spreadsheets, organizing and order
  • Experience with creative producing
  • Hands-on experience with design software
  • Basic experience with / understanding of animation & motion graphics
  • Experience with design in education technology or a related field
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to the landscape of education
