As a Creative Project Manager for Congo Brands, you will be comfortable managing multiple projects, priorities, and timelines simultaneously. You will report to the Head of Creative Operations and assist with tasks including, but not limited to, project timelines, creative team task assignments, and follow-up, project-management status documentation. You must be a team-player with a can-do attitude. This position will serve as a liaison between Operations and Creative Team, as well as being an advocate for the creative process and production.

What We Need From You

  • Must be available to work on-site in our Louisville, KY office
  • Be an advocate for creative team members and their workload
  • Assist in the management of the Creative team's priority tasks/focuses
  • Familiar with project management tools and software: Monday, Teams, MS Office 365 apps, etc.
  • Work closely with the Operations team, Creative team and Creative Project Managers, to ensure critical timelines are defined and communicated across all teams
  • Enforce deadlines and be sure delivery dates are actively managed, while providing timely check-ins to creative team members regarding the status of assigned projects
  • Proactively identify needs and/or gaps within projects and tasks
  • Effectively prioritize projects in the creative team project queue - adjusting timelines and resources as needed and helping art directors manage their creative workloads
  • Ability to construct and manage project work-back schedules for creative asset production throughout creative projects of varying types and scopes, ensuring objectives and project deliverables are met and completed on time
  • Provide status updates on projects and track progress with complete understanding of requirements and expectations
  • Before delivery of final files to the person/department who requested, you will review files to ensure all assets were delivered and nothing is missing

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of project management experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree required
• Experience managing the creative workflow for print, packaging or P.O.P is a plus

  • Ability to work as a team member in a collaborative group environment or alone
  • Ability to interpret and follow written instructions and/or oral directions
  • Effective oral, written, and electronic communication skills
  • A working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office 365 apps: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Excellent time management skills and a diligence to deadlines
  • Flexible and quick to respond to changes in business priorities. Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Organized with a deep attention to detail
  • A problem-solver who loves to create and improve processes' efficiency and quality
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented multi-tasker with a positive attitude towards challenges
