Job Description

What You'll Do

Work alongside our in-house creative team in the Content Studio as we bring the Principalยฎ brand to life through voice and visuals. You'll manage creative projects from start to finish-defining project scope, leading client consultations, developing briefs, building timelines, allocating resources, and ensuring projects meet deadlines, business objectives, and more.

  • Creative management:
    • Own and drive the creative project lifecycle from start to finish for medium and large, multi-layered initiatives-from creative briefing and timeline creation to resource allocation and client communication.
    • Work hand-in-hand with business partners to define creative project scope, aligning everyone toward a common purpose and goal.
    • Evaluate project requests and creative briefs for completeness and clarity, working to identify and close gaps so the creative team has what they need to successfully implement in support of business objectives.
    • Lead strategic consultations that help turn ideas, recommendations, and requests into executable creative plans.
  • Client management:
    • Keep teammates and business partners aligned through the duration of the project with clear, ongoing communication.
    • Educate business partners and manage their needs and expectations, serving as lead point of contact for all Content Studio team activity.
    • Escalate any issues to the Account leadership as needed.
    • Provide strategic counsel to business partners and key stakeholders by building strong relationships and working to achieve creative goals and business objectives simultaneously.
  • Collaboration management:
    • Establish an environment for great creative work to thrive. Evolve our processes with an eye toward optimization, collaboration, efficiency and efficacy.
    • Support the creation and documentation of key processes, guidelines, and best practices.
    • Handle interdependencies among projects, shifting and balancing workloads across the creative team
    • Uphold project management collaboration tool standards and best practices.
    • Share lessons learned from past projects to help inform future work.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations or related field or 8 years' work experience.
  • 2+ years of agency or marketing experience as an account manager, junior account manager or relevant role.

  • Knowledgeable of the latest marketing and social trends and maintain proficiency with numbers, budget, and time management.
  • Ability to present ideas, negotiate, and problem-solve.
  • Great listening, written, and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$63750 - $147600 / year

Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Location

This role offers hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek) in the Des Moines, IA office. You'll work with your leader to figure out which office days may align best based on several factors.
