Job Description
As Creative Strategist, Brand Campaigns, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of Shopify's brand marketing efforts. Your primary objective will be to engage and captivate new audiences of entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs, grow Shopify’s cultural credibility, and establish Shopify as their go-to commerce solution. You will be responsible for generating a continuous pipeline of brilliant, multi-channel brand campaign ideas that drive earned social conversations, are hyper-relevant culturally, and leverage innovative marketing technologies and creative strategies.
You'll be responsible for:
- Developing and executing a strategic roadmap of integrated brand campaigns that align with Shopify's mission and resonate with target audiences.
- Generating innovative and culturally relevant campaign ideas that deliver earned social awareness and brand relevance with target communities
- Creating and pitching compelling briefs that effectively communicate campaign objectives, target audience insights, and creative direction to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product, creative, experiential, social media, and partnerships to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
- Confidently championing campaigns working closely with colleagues responsible for campaign execution and performance analysis, ensuring that the finished work adheres tightly to your original vision and principles.
- Staying informed about emerging marketing technologies and cultural trends, and proactively integrate them into campaign strategies when appropriate.
Qualifications
Experience in brand marketing, creative strategy, or a similar roleÂ
Proven track record of developing and executing successful integrated brand campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition.
Exceptional creativity and the ability to generate unique and impactful campaign ideas consistently.
Proven experience and deep fluency in integrated marketing planning and the ability to create cohesive strategies across multiple channels.
Excellent cultural literacy with a deep understanding of current trends, social media, and popular culture.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in measurement tools like Google Analytics, social listening platforms like Brandwatch, Mention, CreatorIQ, and others to measure campaign performance and optimize strategies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and concepts to diverse stakeholders.
