The Role:
You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and the creative team to ensure we are doing everything needed to drive brand and demand for our Group Black portfolio.
The Creative Strategy Senior Manager is a highly collaborative role that partners closely with our Commercial, Media Planning, Data & Insights, Marketing & Production teams to drive business growth & client success. You must have a strong comprehension of marketing & comms strategy, excel at creative ideation & campaign planning, have exceptional time management and organizational skills, with a strength in creating succinct, yet compelling client-facing presentations.
Reporting to our Sr Director, Brand Strategy, this role will develop proactive ideas for current/prospective clients and provide insightful, creative ideas/strategies in response to inbound RFPs. You will also partner, along with the Sr Director & SVP, Brand Strategy, to collaborate with Group Black Collective members and integrate their offerings into brand proposals/ideas.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Interpret brand / RFP briefs and strategically guide the development of client proposals, with a focus on coming up with insightful ideas and strategies.
- Partner with the Media Planning team to integrate creative thinking and comms planning/strategy into campaign media approaches.
- Work with Brand Strategy leadership team to facilitate brainstorming sessions that address client obstacles.
- Collaborate with Data & Insights team to maintain an ongoing repository of audience, category and behavioral insights that will help inform and expedite the development of campaign strategies.
- Post-Sale - Provide support to Commercial team leads as they develop client SOWs to ensure campaign plan and deliverables are accurately reflected.
- Post-Sale - Provide consultative support to production / execution teams to ensure campaign is being brought to life on strategy & as planned.
- Be an industry thought leader and educate the company, our agencies and partners on the latest media and technology trends, innovation opportunities and ground-breaking ideas and executions.
- Gather insights to help develop marketing strategies that dictate the core methods of achieving the company's goals.
- Create visually appealing powerpoint/Google slide presentations, depicting the creative strategy elements and outlining the holistic vision for the campaign strategy.
What you bring to the team:
- 6-8 years of relevant experience, including a background in creative & comms strategy roles.
- Experience within a top tier creative agency, brand creative group or a strategy role within a technology company.
- An impressive conceptual outlook and ability to produce original ideas.
- Deep comprehension of the creative process and best practices.
- Strong design skills, with the ability to build creative presentations.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
- Strong research skills, with an extraordinary attention to detail.
- Excellent relational skills: friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and the ability to collaborate with various teams.
- Strong project management skills.
- Willingness to adapt to change in a growing company.
- Commitment to the mission, vision, and objectives of the organization.
At Group Black we believe in leveraging our hiring process as a way to support transparency. The annual base salary band for this opportunity is ($130,000.00 - $140,000.00). Our job offer compensation philosophy, which impacts actual compensation, is based on a number of important factors including, but not limited to, internal and market equity, financial budgets, and the individual’s skills, qualifications, experience, and education. Published annual base salary bands do not include individual variable compensation opportunities, such as annual merit increases, bonus eligibility, commission, or equity incentives.
