Creative Technologist

The Senior Creative Technologist, Spatial is responsible for driving innovation in experience and interaction design that brings our projects to life. As a Creative Technologist, you will collaborate across design, UX, motion graphics, film/video, 3D, and technical teams to concept and prove meaningful user experiences across a variety of projects. You will play an important role in the studio’s creative efforts across digital platforms, in-person experiences, internal tools, and interactive installations. You will also engage with engineering teams to take full advantage of hardware and software possibilities depending on the project.

What you'll do

• Research and develop new ideas for new products in Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality domain using cutting-edge technologies and techniques.
• Develop immersive, interactive prototypes to conceptualize and prove innovative approaches for marketing initiatives.
• Oversee the implementation of ideas to ensure pixel-perfect designs.

Who You Are

• Swift and iOS development experience. (VisionOS a big plus)
• Familiarity with computer graphics API/SDKs (OpenGL/WebGL/Metal).
• Familiarity with motion graphics and 3D software (AfterEffects, Maya) packages, in support of your experience as a developer.
• AR/VR/Spatial development experience a plus.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• A diverse portfolio demonstrating expertise in multiple design/development disciplines (web, native iOS/macOS applications, AR/VR, spatial/immersive experiences, interactive installations, motion graphics, 3D, creative coding).
• A strong drive to explore and learn new technologies, and excitement at the thought of operating outside of your comfort zone.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective at communicating and working closely with multidisciplinary teams including art directors, UX designers, developers, and motion graphics artists.
• Proven ability to craft and communicate thoughtful user experiences.
• Adobe Creative Suite.
