Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- Associate degree in applied science in Chemical Dependency or related field; OR two (2) years' experience working in a chemical dependency setting.?
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
- Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC).

Work Environment
- Works in a private office as well as in a group room conducting groups. All rooms are air‐conditioned and heated.
- Protective equipment ‐ gloves when handling urine drug screen specimens, latex free gloves are available.
Age of Patients Served
- Early Adulthood: 18 to 45 Years
- Middle Adult: 46 to 59 Years
- Late Adult: 60 to 79 Years
- Elderly: 80+ Years
HIPAA Roles‐Based Access to Patient Information
- All ‐ Access to patient information, including restricted information ‐ Level 4.
