Diligent Robotics is searching for a Credentialing Specialist to be a key part of our People Operations team and is responsible for ensuring that staff members’ maintain current credentials and access to work in their associated hospitals. The specialist monitors upcoming renewal dates and works with staff to advise them of the required steps to maintain their credentials. They also review information on potential new employees to make sure all required documentation, training and credentials are current. This role will mostly work independently. This requires the specialist to be able to manage their workloads effectively to meet set deadlines. Strong computer skills are necessary for the input and maintenance of data, as well as for performing research regarding training or credentialing requirements in their area. Interaction with other hospital professionals, office personnel, and the public is standard.

This position is a part-time contracted position ranging from 10-20 hours/week and will be fully remote. 

What You’ll Be Doing/Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accrediting institutions
  • Monitor staff credentials and licenses
  • Advise staff on renewal procedures
  • Participate in the development of internal credentialing processes
  • Keep records in licenses, credentials and insurance contracts
  • Release information to agencies and members of the public as required by law
  • Drive the overall execution of the Diligent Robotics credentialing processes by providing documents and needed information to employees, customers, and VCO’s.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate responses to partner hospitals and internal questions and requests.
  • Work within all related systems and reports to manage and complete all work.
  • Monitor requests by supporting field teams, sales teams and external customers via phone, email, and cases.
  • Work closely with field services on timelines and process-related issues.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize various needs with minimal supervision.
  • Provide support for timely resolution of customer Vendor Credentialing needs in coordination with all Diligent teams

  • Excellent organizational, time management skills, including multitasking and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, follow up, and an attention to detail
  • Adaptable to frequent changes to processes
  • Ability to interact effectively across all levels of a matrix organization, both internally and with external customers.
  • Understanding of confidentiality of sensitive personal information with references to support your work

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience performing similar duties 
  • High School diploma/GED 
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite products 
  • Minimum two years of experience working with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
