Credit Collector

Responsabilities

• Maximize cash collection and improve the customer ageing

• Pro-actively manage customer accounts

• Ensure compliance with the Group policies and procedures

• Provide appropriate key indicators and reports for management

• Manage telephonic relations with customers in an efficient and professional manner

• Understand customer organizations and processes

• Manage the resolution of non-commercial disputes

• Effectively communicate with the sales departments

• Continuous update and improvement of customer information database

Tasks

• Follow-up of own customer portfolio from A to Z

• Send reminders and account statements to customers with overdue invoices

• Collection calls and mails

• Communication with sales about customer overdues

• Communication with customer service about disputed invoices

• Assess blocked orders for release

• Send and follow-up customers with the collections agency

Skills

• Appropriate diploma and / or experience

• Good negotiating and persuasion skills

• Excellent communication and listening skills

• Ability to have a high level view and also focus on detail

• Motivated and enthusiastic with a genuine desire to excel in a Finance environment

• Availability, thoroughness and honesty

• Basic knowledge of English is a plus

• PC literate Excel/Word/Outlook. SAP knowledge is a plus.
