Pay Range - $35,000 - $42,000

MidAtlantic Finance is looking for motivated and detailed Credit Dispute Specialist to respond, monitor, and research the accuracy and integrity of consumer's credit data provided to credit repositories. This role will take appropriate and timely steps to correct inaccurate account information provided to credit bureaus while maintaining a detailed database of credit reporting disputes, inquiries, and resolutions. Previous credit reporting experience preferred.

What You'll Do:

• Document all credit related disputes and inquiries received from a variety of sources using in-house financial applications, and e-OSCAR.
• Obtain FCRA Certification within first 90 days of employment. Maintain certification through continuing education. Course material will be provided.
• Compile research and analyze consumer accounts to respond to credit inquiries and disputes.
• Escalation of inquiries unable to be resolved via contract and pay history through good customer service skills and effective listening. 
• Correct inaccurate account information received through e-OSCAR and/or internally and transmit response to credit repositories, documenting the resolution.
• Draft resolution letters to consumers.
• Escalate important communications received from e-OSCAR to management.
• Follow all internal credit related policies and procedures.
