Summary:
The CRM Business Administrator role is an accomplished Salesforce.com (SFDC) administrator and analyst. Working independently and as part of a team, you will work extensively with members of the business to define the business requirements for technology solutions. The role will be a member of operational teams for implementation & ongoing support of commercial applications, both within Salesforce and extending into integrated third-party solutions. You will act as liaison between business owners and internal/external technology solution providers as well as building, enhancing, and maintaining configurations and applications within Salesforce. The individual will also be called upon to work as a member in projects, collaborate with teams from different business units around the organization and with other technology teams. The role will provide high level technical and analytical support for all phases of the enterprise application software life cycle. Works with configured and custom-built applications, purchased packages, and other automation technology in support of administrative customers.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and administer the Salesforce platform on a day-to-day basis to support business requirements, on-the-fly configuration and maintenance, small projects and general upkeep of the platform within specific service level agreements
- Partner with the product and technology teams to coordinate ongoing development, larger maintenance items and integration opportunities
- Assist with resolving problems to ensure customers receive prompt, efficient service; ensure customers' satisfaction
- Develop and maintain productive customer relationships; serve as the point-of-contact for regularly scheduled platform opportunity check-in meetings with customers
- Stay up to date on all Salesforce release items; proactively identify ways to further enhance customers' Salesforce processes
- Other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology or related field is preferred
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience working in with large scale CRM applications, with direct experience using Salesforce.com in an analyst or administrative capacity
- Direct experience with the Financial Services Cloud application within SFDC
- Direct experience supporting customer-facing operations functions
- Ability to understand large scale systems within the landscape and/or constraints of a multi-constituent environment and appreciate that such complexities may require alternative approaches to system implementations
- Salesforce.com Administrator Certification
- Knowledge and work experience with application integration
- Experience working with large data sets and complex security requirements
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively with people of differing levels of technical knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both oral and written)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A working knowledge of mainstream desktop software and customer engagement/interaction solutions
- Familiarity with the full software development life cycle
- Provide end-user support post-launch to troubleshoot issues, identify and document defects, and assist with prioritization of break/fix efforts
- Displays a high level of conscientiousness and follow-through
- Ability and desire for independent learning
- Demonstrates a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience within Financial Services, specifically Asset & Wealth Management a plus
- Experience with relational database management systems
- Strong SQL programming skills
- Salesforce-related APEX coding, or Java equivalent
- Salesforce.com Advanced Administrator Certification
