The Applications team is responsible for delivering innovative solutions through conversational platforms and next-generation communication channels like WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Apple Business Chat, Line, Kakao Talk, and other telecommunications channels like SMS, MMS, and RCS.
The essence of the role.
As CRM Strategist working as part of the Sinch for Marketing Managed Services team you will be immersed in the business challenges and opportunities of our enterprise clients. You will bring insights and strategies - sometimes visionary and bold, other times practical and pragmatic - that will help brands communicate more effectively using mobile messaging.
You will use research, data collection, listening, empathy and storytelling to cultivate an informed Point of View that addresses the unique challenges of the brands we work with. You will be strategic partner to clients and collaborative partner to the account leaders you work alongside.
In this role, you will:
- Work across a variety of clients on programs that leverage standard and rich mobile messaging, personalized video, conversational messaging (2-way), email marketing, and other CRM solutions in SMS, OTT and other digital channels.
- Be an expert at understanding client challenges, consumer insights and customer journeys
- Partner with Account Directors and Managers to identify new or refined opportunities for smart messaging that brings value to the customer.
- Work alongside Creative partners to inform smart creative.
- Collaborate with the Analytics team to develop learning plans, testing recommendations, audience targeting, and drive optimizations based on performance.
- Be a voracious researcher and reader, adept at applying strategic methodologies, interpreting data, and pithy storytelling.
- Have strong communication and presentation skills; able to communicate a strategic point of view that is compelling and easily understood.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience as a strategist working with enterprise brands.
- Have CRM background - using mobile messaging, email, or other DM channels.
- Solid listener, strong communicator - verbal, written, presentation.
- Experience with mobile messaging.
- Basic working knowledge of A/B and multi variant campaign testing.
