About Houston
ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will play in our team
Supply Coordination team creates value by ensuring refineries, trading partners and customers receive reliable supply of crude while also supporting revenue growth, and minimizing costs across the supply chain.
- Supply Coordinator creates value by leveraging expertise in the following areas:
- Understanding and executing contract terms accurately, efficiently and cost effectively
- Optimizing inventory to manage reliability risks, planned maintenance activities and to reduce costs
- Maximize the value gained through supply logistics utilization
- Plan and execute logistics scheduling that is timely, accurate, and efficient
- Ensuring timely and accurate crude movement data to meet all trading contract commitments
- and refinery requirements (i.e. volumes, qualities, etc.)
- Supply Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing end-to-end supply logistics
- Supply Coordinator is responsible for the movements via various methods of transportation (pipeline, marine, rail, truck) and may also manage inventory (primarily in pipelines, rail cars, trucks, vessels and terminals)
What you will do
- Coordinates and communicates effectively with traders, optimizers, refineries to forecast and plan crude movement schedules (mainly via pipelines) in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Use commercial judgment and problem solving skills to solve operational problems
- Partner with trading and optimization to identify and capture market opportunities
- Develop and execute schedules for movement of crude via pipeline, marine, rail, and/or truck
- based on projected production, refinery demands and trading contracts
- Nominates requirements to pipeline, marine, rail, or truck carriers; interacts with third parties daily to execute crude movements
- Manages inventory to agreed targets, while maintaining reliability to refinery and meeting
- contractual obligations
- Supports development and implementation of cost-effective solutions to planned and unplanned supply disruptions
- Develops deep understanding of optimization, logistics, market conditions, operational costs, and contract terms; serves as subject matter expert related to ExxonMobil's supply chain for the assigned area, including logistical capabilities and limitations
- Supports growth and management of change initiatives involving addition of new business, changes to regulatory requirements, among others
- Identifies and implements continuous improvement initiatives to grow the business and reduce logistics costs
- Ensures adherence to credit guidelines, regulatory and quality compliance, and transportation policies (i.e. vessel screening process)
- Serves as key interface between accounting and the business line ensuring third parties are paid accurately and timely
About you
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline
- Experience in any of the following is strongly recommended:
- Scheduling or coordinating bulk liquids or gas movements
- Refining, pipeline or chemicals operations experience
- Solid proficiency in use of MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience in SAP, Analysis for Office, and/or Tableau is a plus

- Must be flexible/adaptable and have the ability to manage changing priorities
