Crypto Data Specialist

Role Overview: 
Grayscale is seeking a talented Software Engineer with a passion for crypto and coding. You will help with things like building a data platform, automating trading strategies, and new product research. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation, be adept at working with blockchain data, and contribute to the establishment of a 'self-serve' data platform at Grayscale. 

Responsibilities:

•    Develop metrics and SQL queries to extract valuable insights from data.
•    Facilitate the setup of a 'self-serve' data platform, ensuring accessibility to trusted data across the organization.
•    Maintain the performance dashboard for Grayscale Digital Index Fund (GDIF).
•    Build prototypes for cutting-edge blockchain and data-related innovations.
•    Automate trading strategies

Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s from top-tier Computer Science or Computer Engineering program.
•    Strong full-stack engineering skills, with proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Go/Rust.
•    Extensive experience with AWS services, including Lambda and EC2.
•    Proficiency in working with databases, Snowflake required.
•    Enthusiasm and passion for the crypto space; prior experience is a plus, but exceptional skills and alignment with our mission are paramount.
•    Experience with blockchain data like Dune Analytics, Flipside Crypto, and Defillama.
•    Strong drive and high standards to produce excellent results, with a proven track record
•    Highly organized and self-motivated, with an ability to work both independently and on a fast-paced team
•    Team oriented with desire to learn from and share knowledge with others
•    Ability to work in an agile environment
