Crypto Support Engineer Lead

We are looking for a hands on support lead for our US team to form part of the 24x7 support team managing and operating the Bullish platform. We are looking for an individual with a strong background supporting critical trading platforms. Backgrounds from front office electronic trading desks, financial technology vendors and financial services would be desirable. Individuals need to have a high attention to detail, an interest in solving problems under pressure and an ability to lead and coordinate responses to system events. Having a strong understanding of financial services trading is essential to be able to detect anomalies and preempt potential issues before they occur.

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Global lead of the Exchange Operations team, lead the local US support team.
• Lead a team of US based application support analysts responsible for service availability and operation of the Bullish exchange
• Monitor system availability, latency, data integrity, capacity and overall health. Ensure effective tooling is in place to do this.
• Engage effectively with engineering and development teams in the system delivery lifecycle to design robust, reliable and automated systems.
• Effectively escalate and manage service outages and drive incident management process
• Troubleshoot platform issues through reviewing logs, code and other data points.
• Channel product/ feature related queries to the product development teams
• Lead service improvement, automation or other smaller project based streams of work

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above
• 10+ years of relevant working experience with a strong technical and operational background. Experience managing small teams.
• Experience in fintech, blockchain industries is preferred. Experience providing support in a financial services trading environment essential
• Experience working with Cloud technologies preferred (AWS or GCP)
• Experience leading smaller teams of hands on support engineers
• Must be able to multitask, problem-solve and have great attention to detail
• Team orientated with ability to take ownership of the operations function and prioritise effectively
• Comfortable working with Linux/ Windows operating systems to be able to view and interpret transaction/ system logs
• Analytical and able to problem solve logically
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to handle complex issues spanning technical and business domains

Annual Salary Range

• USD 155,000 - 220,000
