Cryptography Engineer

We are seeking a Cryptography Engineer to work with our team to build open-source developer infrastructure, tools and products that leverage cutting-edge cryptography such as zero-knowledge proofs. These projects will, in general, be openly shared with the blockchain community. dcSpark's team of experts will help make sure the tools and products you make will have a big impact, as well as manage grant funding, marketing, community management, and all other non-programming-related tasks that would otherwise distract you from building something awesome.

dcSpark's team includes many veterans in the blockchain industry with existing knowledge of a wide variety of domains including zero-knowledge cryptography. Your job will be to complement our existing strengths and work as a team to achieve more

Responsibilities:

• Investigate current research and help reach consensus on engineering plans based on your findings
• Produce high-quality and well-tested code, following the latest design and development patterns.
• Ensure the code produced matches technical specifications and business requirements.
• Research, design, scope, and estimate work required
• Create technical documentation.
• Work with teams across time zones.
• Constantly improve yourself by keeping up-to-date with the latest technology trends.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an engineer
• Strong mathematical skills - especially related to cryptography
• Knowledge about blockchain fundamentals, cryptography, P2P Networks, and DeFi.
• Experience working with Git
• Strong knowledge of common algorithms and data structures
• Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
• Experience in working with Mina or other zk projects is a plus
