Job Summary

Crystal Growth engineer will be responsible for growing crystalline materials from the melt.

• Ability to operate and troubleshoot basic crystal growth equipment. Good understanding of relevant process controls
• Assist and support current production lines in crystal growth
• Routine evaluation and analysis of existing process controls that affect crystal quality
• Oversee the preventative maintenance of various furnaces and control equipment
• Drive starting material processing and analysis
• Periodic review and reporting to team and upper management
• Other tasks as needed to maintain a successful crystal growth department

Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering Sciences or higher
• 2 years + of relevant crystal growth experience
• Hands-on experience in equipment operation
• High energy, self-motivated, positive attitude with strong communication skills and ability to interface effectively with coworkers of different backgrounds at every level of the company. Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and to handle multiple priorities
