CSS IPCM Senior Project Manager

Full-time, (home)based in the US

In this role, you will be responsible for the utilization of established and proven project management methodology, tools, and processes (PMP, OPPM, Prince2, Six Sigma) to scope, plan, analyze, initiate, execute, monitor, and control projects and programs. As the Senior Global Project Manager / Senior Technology Project Program Manager, you are responsible for delivering project programs with medium to high complexity. You will oversee global project coordination with a broad scope of multi-national countries, and local, or regional implementation coordination. You will mentor project and program managers.

A snapshot of this opportunity

• Deliver projects within allocated time and resource targets and satisfy the defined scope and quality
• When required, work closely with Finance to help track the budget throughout the lifecycle of the program and/or project
• Ensure performance measurements comply with departmental/project Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Request and confirm all necessary resources are assigned per the project scope
• Leverage regional and local resources and resources from the different departments and functions to support projects
• Facilitate effective and constant communication with all program elements (internal / external)
• Validate that suggested process solutions will meet the client's expectations
• Support and facilitate strategy discussions on management level

How you can set yourself apart

• Prior travel industry or companyexperience
• Extensive experience in personnel management and project or program management
• Consistent performance evaluation of overall 3.2 - 3.5 or higher
• Excellent organization skills, ability to facilitate and resolve show-stoppers
• Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and project management software (Tempo or other)
• Outstanding written and spoken communication skills
• The ability to bring teams together
• Availability to frequent travel, also at weekends
• Strong technical skills in Abacus, Amadeus, Apollo, Galileo, Sabre, Worldspan, or another local GDS
• Six Sigma Yellow or Green belt, PMP or other project management certification
