Job Description
High Alpha is hiring a CTO and Co-Founder for a new B2B SaaS startup. This position will be with High Alpha’s latest company, which is in pre-public launch (aka in “stealth mode”). The company will be focused on helping recruiters leverage both internal and external referral networks for hiring top talent. You’ll work closely with the internal High Alpha team while reporting directly to the CEO. The CEO has helped build three previous companies from early stage to successful exits, two of which are in Human Resources technology. About this role:This role will be responsible for leading the technology, engineering, and infrastructure organizations while also keeping the company on the bleeding edge of innovation and technology. You will initially lead the development efforts around building and scaling the MVP, while also developing a strategic long-term roadmap for building a high-growth, venture-backed software platform.Â
As a member of the founding team, you will also have a hand in setting the mission and values for the business. You will have an opportunity to be an active participant in key business decisions at the most strategic level, and help shape the culture of the overall organization.
What You’ll Do:- Be an active member of the founding executive team
- Lead the team of developers and engineers, establishing and maintaining standards and regimens
- Provide individuals with guidance, mentorship, and a path for growth within the technology organization
- Oversee the development of a technical roadmap for innovation and technical requirements ensuring the product is stable and innovativeÂ
- Keep a pulse on the company’s development stack and related technologies to ensure engineering is staying current and competitiveÂ
- Guide the technical vision for the company and shape technological strategies that exceed customer expectations
- 4+ years in a Management/Executive role with experience overseeing engineering, design, and product in a startup environment
- Proven Track record of hiring and leading world-class technical teams
- Ideally has had the experience in aligning multiple products to one technical strategy and roadmap
- Experience working in the earliest stages of a SaaS start-up or scale-up company that has grown at a rapid scale
- Has experience working alongside other executive leaders to drive strategic direction, but willing and capable to roll up their sleeves on tactical items
- A desire to lead from the front, by engaging with users, defining product priorities, specifying requirements as well as functioning strategicallyÂ
- Effective personal and team-based project management capabilities
- The ability to convey thoughts effectively both verbally and in writing to multiple levels of stakeholders
