Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CUAS Technical Writer to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for generating innovative ideas for content while working both independently and collaboratively as a part of the Solutions Development team.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension.
  • Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions.
  • Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team.
  • Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are clearly presented.
  • Analyze information required for the development or update of a policy or procedure and create appropriate documentation.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Minimum 2-5 years in a technical writing role or related communication role
  • Solid English writing skills, including the ability to describe complex concepts and processes to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Solid communication and listening skills
  • Solid research skills and attention to detail
  • Technical aptitude and a basic understanding of technology development processes
  • The potential to become fluent with XML authoring tools, content management systems, and collaboration and source-control tools
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite
  • A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, or a related area of study, or equivalent experience

Salary Range:

$32.88 - $57.55
