Culinary Director – East Coast Confidential Search Compensation:$180,000 – $200,000 + Bonus and Benefits About the Opportunity A rapidly growing, nationally recognized hospitality group is seeking aCulinary Directorto oversee multiple high-volume, upscale restaurants across theEast Coast, based out ofNew York City. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving culinary consistency, operational excellence, and team development across a diverse portfolio of restaurants. We are looking for a hands-on leader with both creative and operational strength who can balance culinary vision with disciplined execution. The ideal candidate will bring a track record of success inmulti-unit leadership,high-volume operations, andstaff development, while also ensuring each restaurant delivers a distinct, memorable dining experience. Key Responsibilities • Provide culinary leadership and direction across multiple restaurants on the East Coast. • Oversee recipe execution, food quality, presentation standards, and kitchen systems to ensure consistency and excellence. • Lead, mentor, and develop Executive Chefs and BOH management teams. • Implement operational systems and procedures to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve guest satisfaction. • Collaborate with leadership on menu rollouts, seasonal changes, and special programming. • Maintain strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. • Partner with operations and finance teams to meet performance targets around food cost, labor, and profitability. • Act as a cultural leader and mentor, setting the tone for professionalism, accountability, and creativity. Qualifications • 8+ years of senior-level culinary leadership experience, including oversight of multiple units. • Proven success in upscale, high-volume operations. • Strong operational and financial acumen, including food cost and labor management. • Ability to balance creative culinary development with disciplined execution. • Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and communication skills. • Experience in large hospitality groups or corporate restaurant settings preferred. • Based in NYC, with flexibility to travel frequently to restaurants along the East Coast.
