We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Culinary Supervisor to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. This role requires a hands-on approach to kitchen management, overseeing daily operations while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen activities, ensuring smooth operations during shifts.
• Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and promote teamwork.
• Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock while minimizing waste.
• Oversee food production processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with catering teams to plan and execute events, ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality food service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation standards.
• Implement menu changes and assist in the development of new recipes in line with seasonal offerings.
• Monitor food presentation and portion control to maintain consistency in quality across all dishes.
Requirements
• Proven experience in a culinary role within the food industry, with a focus on leadership and kitchen management.
• Strong knowledge of catering operations, inventory management, and food production techniques.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
• Familiarity with hospitality standards and best practices in restaurant operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A passion for culinary arts with creativity in menu planning and execution.
• Certification in food safety or culinary arts is preferred but not mandatory.
