We are looking for a talented Sales Application Engineering Coordinator to join our team for our location in Shoreview, MN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Coordinate, research and execute the arrangements for the Factory Power Seminars, working with Cummins distributor personnel, customers and vendors.
- Coordinate presenters for Power Seminars and trainings in general . Arrange hotel accommodations, assemble books, work with caterers, entertainment selection and transportation;
- Administer debits, credits, and RMA's to support the Power Seminar program and department. Coordinate meeting room, demonstration (interruptible) and plant tour activities
- Maintain control on all Power Seminar material and Cummins souvenirs;
- Coordinate and support regional and global Technical Trainings conducted by SAE through Virtual platforms
- Decide, plan and felicitate Meetings/trainings using zoom and Microsoft teams
- Work with presenters, and distributors to guarantee the success of the events while adhering to standards
- Liaise with other regions globally in order to maintain uniformity of training materials, methodology and drive improvements
- Perform surveys with attendees and/or engineers post events;
- Provide support to SAE team with technical inquiries.
- Publish monthly reports about distributor performance (number of inquiries from all regions, type of inquiries and changes from previous reports), feedback, % increase on specs after events, etc)
- Assist with logging technical inquires in an excel or logger to create monthly reports
- Track all training related expenses and provide monthly reports as wells as feedback on continuous improvements that help reduce cost while maintaining level of service.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
- Must be familiar with and have a strong understanding of technology
- Must be proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowePoint, Word, etc.)
- Must be proficient with Zoom Meetings
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must be flexible and adaptable
- Must be self-driven and self-motivated
- Must have strong Coordination Skills
- Must have strong Project Management skills
- Must be able to work 1st Shift: M - F, 8 AM - 5 PM (Hybrid Remote)
- Pay based on experience level
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
