Who you are
Education products are critical to the future of brightwheel. We are committed to providing solutions for schools parents and teachers that free up their time to focus on providing high quality education to every child. The Curriculum and Instruction Lead contributes to the successful development of comprehensive and standards-based curriculum. The role develops content for curriculum programs including standards curriculum instruction and assessment. This role requires experience in early childhood education (preschool) curriculum as well as live teacher-led instruction.
What You'll Do

Curriculum Development: Develop and refine engaging curriculum content for infants toddlers and preschoolers including teacher guides lesson plans educational materials children’s literature and resources for families.

Standards Alignment: Ensure that curriculum aligns with relevant educational standards to support business growth and enhance educational impact.

Research Trends: Stay informed about the latest research educational trends and best practices in early childhood education. Integrate this knowledge to continuously enhance our curriculum.

Instructional Content Creation: Design digital lesson plans and instructional materials for online teacher training leveraging best practices in online adult learning.

Product Integration: Act as a Subject Matter Expert for integrating the curriculum into innovative digital experiences that benefit schools educators and families.
Qualifications Skills & Abilities

Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

5+ years of proven experience in curriculum writing & development.

In-depth knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.

Experience in physical and digital learning environments.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Innovative mindset with a passion for enhancing early childhood education.

Strong project management skills.
$86000 - $116000 a year
Brightwheel is committed to internal pay equity and offers a competitive compensation package including base salary equity and benefits. Our benefits package includes premium medical dental and vision benefits generous paid parental leave a flexible paid time off policy a monthly wellness and productivity stipend and a Learning & Development stipend.
For cash compensation brightwheel sets standard ranges for all roles based on function level and geographic location benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. Multiple factors determine final offer amounts including geographic location candidate experience and expertise.
