The selected individual will:
- Review and modify curriculum components using participant, facilitator, program observer, and subject matter expert feedback
- Use government-provided subject matter sources and interagency partner and Services feedback to create, develop, and modify new and existing curriculum grounded in instructional design theory
- Modify and update curriculum in the Online Learning Management System (LMS) to align virtual and brick and mortar curricula as identified by DoD subject matter experts (SMEs), utilizing Articulate 360, Captivate, and other online development programs as directed
- Review, evaluate, and provide recommendations for updates on interagency partner synchronous and asynchronous courses
- Coordinate, support, and participate in Service and interagency partner meetings to review curriculum, evaluation feedback, and recommended changes
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in curriculum design or education preferred
- 6+ years of applicable experience required
- Experience utilizing Articulate 360, Captivate, and other online curriculum development programs
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Experience facilitating adult-level workshops/classes
- Willingness to travel, as needed
- Willing to perform work onsite, in Alexandria, VA, as required
- Must have current, active security clearance (Secret or above preferred) with the ability to obtain a CAC immediately upon start date
- Compliance with Executive Order 14042 , FAR 52.223-99 clause (Ensuring Adequate COVID -19 Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors) required (proof required)
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite; including Illustrator and InDesign
- Specialized experience in curriculum development/design or adult education.
- Knowledge of the military and experience working with military clients is strongly preferred
- Secret security clearance strongly preferred
